Hello everyone, I've moved --> http://joonsy.livejournal.com

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

I'm damn kuku seriously cause I ordered an Iced Peppermint Tea Latte today after lunch without realising that Latte is actually coffee. And when I drank it I felt it tasted weird, not like tea at all. I didn't even realise I was drinking coffee until I finished about 3/4s of it!! How stupid can I get man.

I took leave from work tomorrow but I still might have to work though. Totally depends on whether any sites need last minute replacements. And I have to go to Volvo on Friday till next Wednesday. Its all the way at Joo Koon Circle (near Boon Lay) which is so incredibly far. I can only imagine how crowded the Boon Lay bus terminal would be in the morning.

Its May already and time is just passing incredibly fast. Can't wait to start school! All the new notebooks and stationery which I can start buying again haha. I haven't heard from NUS at all (they are so slow seriously) and the acceptance period for NTU and SMU courses are going to be over soon. Guess I'd be going to NTU Mass Comm. Pretty excited and I think Mary and I can be classmates again!

My Japan trip was awesome (though boring to some, haha!) but I think I shall blog about that another time. Bought quite a number of things on the trip but I can't wait to go shopping. GSS is going to start soon and I can't wait!! I wanted to buy a dress yesterday during lunch hour cause I was feeling all miserable and lonely. I spent an awfully long time in the dressing room but I didn't get it in the end Nevermind, I shall buy something nice to cheer myself up soon!

Weekends come quick!

I woke up this morning looking like a lion cause I went to bed last night when my hair was still wet

ROAR!

Picnic with the girls was fantastic (although almost everyone was late!). It has been a while since everyone turned up for a gathering

I absolutely adore weekends! I get to wear normal clothes, carry my happy-rainbow bag and I don't put on make-up when I get out of the house, haha! Unsightly, yes, but I find it rather annoying to wear make-up all the time.

My lovely happy-rainbow bag right in front!

Our Rocher Tau Huey plans were sidetracked when we were lured into Peace Centre to try out their desserts (simply because it was air-conditioned haha!), only to find out that there was no more mango sago!! I ended up eating Black Sesame paste which wasn't very tasty And off to eat tau huey after that! But I just sat around watching them eat cause I was oh-so-full.

And I am extremely elated because I bought a lovely pair of jeans (just nice for my Japan trip!) and I eyed this knit top/cardigan but I didn't buy it in the end. I kind of regret it now...

Nevermind, Chinatown shopping with Ness sometime this week. Please remember to message me okay!

The sweetest couple!

This is what I have been doing:

Practised calligraphy writing

I'm really bored :(
So much has happened for the past 2 weeks or so. Release of A level results, trip to Hong Kong was fantastic (Shopping!!!), went for the uni open houses, uni applications, interview with SMU (the worse ever) and work.

My A level results are okay I guess, just slightly disappointed but I'm truly grateful with what I received Went for NTU's open house the next day and I was pretty certain that I really want to do Mass Comm Studies in uni but right now I'm not really sure. Thinking of leaning more towards psychology/social work? I really don't know. Guess I'd see what the 3 unis offer me.

Anyway, the SMU interview for the school of social sciences came as a shock. I only applied the night before and the next day I received a call, telling me to go down for an interview. They are really efficient! I went down for the interview and I'm so glad its over and done with! I had the most uncomfortable and horrible time inside the interview room, with 2 interviewers. I felt that one of the interviewers really picked on me and whatever I was saying and it kind of pissed me off. But I tried not to show it though :( Pretty sure that I won't get into SMU because of the interview. Oh well, its all over already and I can't do much.

And work has been truly boring
I know I keep bitching about work, but seriously, this week has been the worse. I originally thought that being a replacement receptionist is probably the most boring job in the world, but doing admin work in the office this week was worse. I've been doing an ops manual for a company and reorganising files for only 2 days and its seriously the worse ever. I didnt really speak to any of my colleagues cause I hardly know them and I seriously felt so lonely! Thank goodness my last day as a contract staff is on 31st Mar (6 more working days!) so I don't think I'd need to go back to the office on a regular basis to do work (:

I have to wake up early tmr to lunch with my grandparents! They just came down from Malaysia yesterday. Oh, and I have to go to the atm machine to pay for uni application fees
